FAQ's

What is Premier Day?
The Massage Therapists and Estheticians at Suriel Touch will be performing demonstrations of their skills during the event.  Attendee's will have the opportunity to volunteer to receive the treatment as other attendees watch the treatment demonstration.

What Types of Demonstrations will be Performed?
Reflexology, Dermaplane, Active Isolated Stretching, Chair Massage, Skin Assessments, Float Therapy, and Face Mapping.

Will there be Refreshments?
Food will be catered by "not yet determined".  Additionally, there will be fruit infused water, coffee and tea.

Can I Sign-Up before the Day of the Event?
No, Pre-event Sign-Ups are not available.  Sign-up sheets will be posted at 10am the morning of the event.  

What Items are in the Raffle Baskets?
There will be two Raffle baskets.  The Premier Basket will contain a 60-min Massage, 30-min Float and a 60-min Facial.  The Supreme Basket will contain a spa day for two, 60-min Massage and a 60-min Facial for two.

Where is Active Isolated Stretching and What Should I Expect During this Treatment?
This method of stretching works with the body’s natural physiological makeup to improve circulation and elasticity of muscle joints and fascia.  The volunteer will lay on their back on a massage table, the Massage Therapist will stretch the legs of the volunteer while explaining the technique and muscle or muscle groups to the volunteer and other attendees. (duration: approximately 15min)

Where is Chair Massage and What Should I Expect During this Treatment?
This is a massage performed in a seated face-down position on a massage chair.  There will be a sign-up for chair massage as it will be performed throughout the event.

Where is Dermaplane and What Should I Expect During this Treatment?
A surgical blade is expertly used to remove superficial dead skin cells and increase the generation of collagen and elastin within two to four weeks.  The volunteer will receive a treatment as other attendees watch. (duration: approximately 45min)

Where is Face Mapping and What Should I Expect During this Treatment?
Face Mapping help you realize your skin goals and find products that will truly work for you. Combining Eastern and Western philosophies, Face Mapping® involves looking at your skin with a trained eye, touching your skin and asking you questions about your lifestyle and environment.  The volunteer will receive a face mapping examination while other attendees watch.  (duration: approximately 20min)

Where is Float Therapy and What Should I Expect During this Treatment?
The Float Tank contains a mixture of Epsom Salt (900lbs) and water (200 gallons).  Due to the salt content, you will be fully supported and will expend no physical energy to maintain your position in the water.  The volunteer will privately change into their bathing suite, insert ear plugs, shower and then enter the Float tank.  The attendant will explain the benefits of floating to the volunteer and attendees.  Questions can be asked to the attendant and volunteer during the float session.  (duration:  approximately 30min)

Where is Reflexology and What Should I Expect During this Treatment?
Reflexology is based on the belief that each part of the body is interconnected through the nervous system to the hands and feet.  The Volunteer will lay on their back on the massage table while the Massage Therapist performs and explains the Foot Reflexology connection to the body to the volunteer and other attendees. (duration:  approximately 15min)

Where is Skin Assessments and What Should I Expect During this Treatment?
